Choi Jong Hun (최종훈) is a vocalist and leader of Korean Boy Band FT Island. His name is sometimes spelled Choi Jung Hun, Choi Jong Hoon or Choi Jung Hoon. As the leader of South Korean pop band, FT Island, choi Jong Hun takes a role as Vocalist. He also plays the piano and guitar in the band.

Apart from Lee Hong Ki, Choi Jong Hun is also a university student since March 2009. He is attending Digital Music Degree classes ar Gyeonggi University.

F.T. Island’s leader, Choi Jong Hun, is being slammed for the amout of personal contact/skinship he had made with his partner in the recent episode of MNet Scandal. In the episode, Jong Hun and his “girlfriend” were seen, cuddling, hugging, kissing (many many times), making out and holding hands. Netizens having commenting saying things such as how “they’ve never seen two people advance so fast.” But some are saying the fault is F.T. Island’s girlfriends’, saying things such as, “The problem lies with the girl. Isn’t she over doing it?” and “This woman has no class at all.” Although.. aren’t scandals suppose to be scandalous? In my opinion, the fault is at both sides, seeing as how it doesn’t take one person to hug or hold hands, it takes two. Some netizens also had thoughts that maybe since Jong Hun has been busy for so long and maybe not having much contact with any females, he is letting it all out quickly in this one week with his make-believe girlfriend.

Lee Hong Ki (이홍기) is the lead vocal of Korean Boy Band FT Island. Lee Hong Ki also is the oldest member of the group, older than the group leader Choi Jong Hoon.

Lee Hong Ki hosted SBS’s music show Inkigayo. He later starred in the drama You’re Beautiful alongside actor Jang Geun Suk and actress Park Shin Hye. Choi Min Hwan also held a role in the drama The Road Home.


Besides as a singer, Lee Hong Ki is an actor also. His acting debut in 2002 in KBS2 Magic Kid Masuri (매직키드 마수리) as Masuri’s friend. FT Island’s Lee Hongki transformed himself into SNSD’s Jessica.

Starting its first airing on 7th October, SBS Wed-Thu drama “You’re Beautiful” includes parody music videos and one of which, requires Lee Hongki to transform into SNSD.


The main characters of “You’re Beautiful” challenged themselves in parodies of mega hits like Seo Taiji & Boys’ “I Know“, Roo’ra’s “Wingless Angel“, HOT’s “Candy“, DJ.DOC’s “Run To You“, Crying Nut’s “Let’s Ride A Horse“, Fin.K.L’s “Forever Love” and SNSD’s “Tell Me Your Wish“.

Lee Hongki, who transformed into SNSD’s Jessica, even wore skinny pants and 7cm-tall high heels for the filming. He revealed that, “Few days before the filming, I went to check out the song and the videos and made careful observation of their performance.”

Actually, during the filming of “Tell Me Your Wish“, he had a video call with Tiffany. “Lee Hongki and Jang Geunsuk, who did Jessica and Yoona’s parts respectively, look very pretty and I’m really shocked. I will watch the drama well when it starts,” Tiffany gave her support.

The parody music video will be shown at the end of the episodes as an epilogue before the preview of the next episode. The content will be different every time, giving surprise to the viewers.

FT Island’s Lee Hongki returns to acting after a break of 5 years. Lee Hongki makes a comeback in the new SBS Wed-Thu drama “You’re Beautiful“. He has been casted previously in KBS 2TV children drama “Magic Kid Masuri” in 2002, EBS drama “There’s Light Left At The Tip Of My Fingernails” in 2004 and “Kkangsooni” in 2005. Thereafter, he started his singing career with FT Island. In “You’re Beautiful“, Lee Hongki plays the role of Jeremy, a bright and cheerful British-Korean. Being a happy-go-lucky person, Jeremy is one who helps to bond the members of A.N.JELL together. He could be random at times but when he flashes his lovely smile, all was forgiven. Lee Hongki suits the role of Jeremy very well. Jeremy is foolish yet adorable, and together with his natural bright smile, it matches Lee Hongki perfectly. The 5 years of break doesn’t seem to him as a big gap and he also picked a character that suits him well.

Lee Hongki appeared on the latest episode of Mnet’s ‘추적 X-보이프랜드 시즌2′(Pursuiting X-Boyfriend Season 2) and confessed that “My first love was a noona that was older than me by 2 years”.


Lee Hongki who was listening to the younger man, older woman couple problem, he let out that “My first love was a year 3 noona who I met when I was in year 1.” He revealed that “It wasn’t a student and workrelated relationship but a student to student relationship so their wasn’t any problems. Lee Jae Jin (이재진) is a vocalist of Korean Boy Band FT Island. His acting debut in 2007 KBS2 daily sitcom Unstoppable Marriage as Wang Sa Baek (왕사백).

Member Lee Jae Jin was a castmember of KBS’s sitcom Unstoppable Marriage while the other members made a cameo appearance. In the sitcom, Lee played the role of Wang Sa Baek (Sim Mal Yeon’s fourth son), and appeared regularly on the show.



Don’t be confused with another Korean Singer Lee Jae Jin (이재진) from group Sechs Kies. Yes, there is another Lee Jae Jin who was a choreographer for Sechs Kies. Along with Kim Jae Duc, he would create the dances for all of Sechs Kies music videos.

On March 11, 2009, it was announced that Lee Jae Jin will participate in the musical Sonagi. He will get the role as a young boy. He was cast because he “showed a great passion for the piece, had the image of a sincere young boy, and had the qualifications to be considered a musical actor.” He follows the footsteps of Big Bang’s SeungRi, who already participated in the musical in summer 2008. His first appearance in “Sonagi” was on the show for the 1st May with an agitation from the press. F.T Island member, Lee Jae Jin’s real sister acting in SBS “On Air” was made known recently, interesting many netizens. Lee Jae Jin’s sister, Lee Chae Won plays the make-up artist for Oh Seung Ah (Kim Ha Neul) in “On Air” and appears practically in every episode. Lee Chae Won had debuted initally using her real name Lee Jae Gyung but changed it recently. She did not rely on the fame of her brother’s name nor F.T Island to get any favours. That’s why not much people paid notice to her.



While her real name is Lee Jae-gyeong, she changed it to Lee Chae-won recently. She debuted as a fashion model and is reportedly signed with the same talent agency younger bro is with.

Choi Min Hwan is one of the youngest members of the korean boy band FT Island, South Korea pop band. He was born on 11 November 1992 in South Korea and is still studying at high school. Choi Min Hwan goes to Eunil Information Industry High School.



Choi Min Hwan is the youngest/magnae and is the third member of FT Triple. He plays the drums and also had his acting debut last year in The Road Home. He is especially known for his adorable aegyeos.

Song Seung Hyun (송승현) is the newest member of Korea Boy Band FT Island after replacing Oh Won Bin. FT Island’s new member is Song Seung Hyun (age 18), at 180cm and 60kg. He will fill in Oh Won Bin’s spot as a guitarist and vocalist, and also plans to add some rap.

Song Seung Hyun is the second youngest member of the group after Choi Min Hwan.



Being a new member of the group and still mysterious for the fans, Song Seung Hyun stated: “Since I’ve just recently joined the group, I will be lacking lots of experience, however I will try my best to not fall behind and will work hard to gain the love of fans.”

Anyway, the idol rock band will continue as usual and will be coming back with a mini-album in February.

Why Oh Won Bin quit FT Island

On January 28, F&C Music announced that guitarist Oh Won Bin suddenly left the band FT Island.

He started as a member of the group, but said that there were long time differences with the other members and the music personally, and stopped activities with them.


FT Island’s agency F&C Music said, “The fans knew about these rumors coming out. But Oh Won Bin is the one who made the final decision. And at the end of the discussion, it was the team’s final decision.

“Oh Won Bin will not leave FT Island a four-member band. A new member will come along with their new mini-album in February.”

2PM Park Jaebum Myspace Scandal

I didn’t expect that 2PM’s leader, Jaebum will end up leaving the group. If you’re not familiar with 2PM. I’ll give you few details first about the group. 2PM is a 76-member Korean boy band such as Junsu, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho, and Chansung.

These all-male group is under JYP Entertainment same with Wonder Girls company. Let’s omit Jaebum since he decided to leave the group on September 8 because of what he did on his Myspace account way back in 2005 by posting a Korean-offending messages on his account. Fangirls were totally shocked with his decision of leaving the group.



Here’s the message of JaeBum’s message on the official fancafe posted on September 8:

Hello. This is JaeBum from 2PM. I’m sorry to give a last farewell with this message. With that very apologetic heart I have, it seems it is hard for me to see everyone on stage again.”

I’m very sorry to everyone. I’m even more sorry to fans who have gave so much love. I will be leaving 2PM from today. I’m so sorry but I have to leave 2PM and you guys because I have been a leader hyung who not only did not give strength but became a burden. I’m once again sorry.”

Korean netizens most especially to anti’s must be really happy after hearing Jaebums declaration of leaving the group. I feel so sorry for him and for korean netizens. ARGH.

Park Jaebum: 2PM Member Quits Korean Boy Band

The departure of Park Jaebum to America is a big disaster for his thousands of fans in Korea. A large number of his fans gathered at the airport to see their star last time. The member of the 2PM group is still discussing to select new leader. A good thing which is noticed till yet that there is not any controversial among them for becomes a leader. They are not concerning about promotions. They are much concern about the group future.
Jaebum arrived Korea when he was a high school student. It was not easy for him to survive in totally different culture. He could not speak Korean at that time. Jaebum was born in 25 April 1987. He joined Dankook University for education purpose. He was the leader of 2 PM singing group. Except of his profession he is very fond of Basketball, Matching the colors of clothes, listening to music.

Park Jaebum announced his resignation on the band’s website (Korean language).

Recently, it became known that the singer had written critical remarks on the social network site with the following messages:

“Korea is gay. I hate Koreans. I wanna come back. Korea is whack, but everyone thinks I’m like the illest rapper wen i suck nuts at rappin.”



The remarks were posted just after Park Jaebum arrived in South Korea as a trainee for JYP Entertainment, which ended up signing Park Jae Beom as part of One Day, which later slit into 2PM and 2AM.

In the years that followed, 2PM and 2AM rose to fame, and Park Jaebum’s earlier remarks came back to hurt him.

Just hours after the posting of the message, he got onboard a Korean Air plane in the evening. Hundreds of his fans packed the terminal at the airport yelling: “Don’t Go, Don’t Go!’’ Jae-beom reportedly gave a big bow as a goodbye to his fans, most of whom were in tears.

Nichkhun Horvejkul is a Thailand Chinese singer and part of Korean Boy Band 2PM, roled as Sub Vocal and dancer. Nichkhun born in California, and moved to Thailand at age 5. Later he moved to Korea in 2006, therefore he doesn’t really fluen in Korean Language.

Nichkhun Debut

In August 2007, JYP revealed a list of 11 trainees that were said to debut in a large boy band. However the boy band, One Day, was split into two smaller sub-groups. Nichkhun was put in the group’s second counter part, 2PM, which is a seven boy band group. The other group is 2AM. On 4 September, 2008, 2PM debuted with their dance number, “10 out of 10,” with their single album “Hottest Time of the Day.”

After 2PM’s debut in 2008, Nichkhun became a popular choice for Thai endorsements, and was selected by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) as the face of their newest campaign, “Come to Thailand; Let’s Take a Break!”



Nichkhun Scandal

Nich Khun’s 1st episode of Mnet’s Scandal is out! Nich Khun’s new girlfriend’s name is Kim Min Sun and the lucky girl got to call Nich Khun her boyfriend for a whole week. The couple went out to eat, ice skating, and went to Lotte World

Base on a love story between an ordinary person and a superstar as in the hit movie, “Nothing Hill”, a new TV program called “Mnet Scandal” on Mnet channel has recently become a talk of the town after airing its first two episodes.



And in its third episode, Nichkhun of 2PM will play a boyfriend role to a girl who is close to his ideal type. Nichkhun had told the program that he prefers an older or same age girl whom he can talk freely with. He likes a girl who eats well and can make him crave for food just watching she eats. On a date, he just wants to go to a theme park and holds her hands while skating on an ice skating rings together.

However, Mnet channel has been bombarded with hundred of phone calls from Nichkhun fans after the preview of the 3rd episode, where he is seen having a date scenes just like he had pictured, was showed to public. Some fans raged and showed envious remarks to the girl who was picked to be Nichkhun’s girlfriend. Some fans protested the show while some showed their interest in watching the program.

Mnet Scandal’s Nichkhun episode will be aired for two weeks on Wednesday night of May 20th and 27th, at 11:00 pm (korean time) on Mnet channel.



Nichkhun Scandal Part Two revealed

Seeing how confident Nichkhun is with Kim Min Sun, we can say for sure that Nichkhun sure knows how to treat them ladies. With his adorable charm, what girl (and boy?) wouldn’t drop down on their knees in a split second? I give Kim Min Sun props for being able to control her inner fangirlness, but the show would’ve been more entertaining if the girl didn’t control herself so well – a nervous klutz who did stupid things around him would’ve kept me laughing. Finally after their seven days of making love, the two split, like a banana split.. Speaking of bananas, I wonder if.. nevermind. Unfortunately, these videos don’t have subs yet. But who cares about the words, just watching Nichkhun will make you satisfied.. or in this case, make you want to rip the chick into pieces. Chicken strips anyone?

Hwang Chansung is a vocalist and rapper of Korean Boy Band 2PM. Chansung, nicknamed Perry, is the youngest of the group.

Chansung was in the same survival game as Junho but at that time he had lost. Then Chansung had auditioned again and received the title of being the makane or the youngest of 2pm.



Besides as singer, Hwang Chansung is a model also.

Chansung was the first guy to be eliminated on JYP’s Superstar Survival but they obviously called him back and he’s actually starring in Highkick.

Hwang Chansung and Nobody Tango Dance

Sometimes Hwang Chansung looks like an Italian person. Especially when we did a Tango dance, where he had to tie his hair and he looked just like an Italian. (Hwang Chansung did a Tango dance (Nobody Tango Version) with Wonder Girls’ Yeeun during MNET MKMF 2008)

Girls’ Generation, Nichkhun, and, Hwang Chan Sung modeled the Elite School Uniform fall season line.

This pictorial had a fashion show concept with a bright, colorful, and, upbeat atmosphere. Girls’ Generation, Nichkhun, and, Hwang Chan Sung, like most fashion models, wore their uniforms throughout the shoot and displayed cool poses.

That day’s shoot, all nine Girls’ Generation members with their own individual charm, came together in style and modeled the uniforms well. In particular, Girls’ Generation wore the luxurious pastel tones of the fall uniform line which brightened the studio.


Models through SuperNova, Nichkhun and Hwang Chan Sung are preparing to debut as a part of a male group from JYP Ent. Nichkhun, a Thai singer from the United States, appeared as an MC on SBS ‘Deja Vu Season 2 – Village of Performing Arts.’ with good looks and cute appearance has recieved a lot of spotlight. Through MBC sitcom ‘Unstoppable High Kick’, Hwang Chan Sung was able to get his face out there. With his tall stature, Taekwondo and Kumdo knowledge, he has a healthy body and modeled the school uniforms well.


One official said “Girls’ Generation, Nichkhun, and, Hwang Chan Sung different personalities have attracted a wide variety of students and we were able to show them a variety of different looks. Because they are idol stars, we can look forward to catching up to the 1318 generation.” he said.

Kim Junsu is known as the lead vocalist of Korean Boy Band 2PM. He is originally from Daegu, South Korea. He originally auditioned for YG Entertainment, where he befriended G-Dragon and Tae Yang of Big Bang. He was accepted into both YG & JYP Entertainment, but chose to take the path of JYP in his final decision.

Kim Junsu is the older member of the group after Park Jaebom.


Kim Junsu of 2pm could easily be confused by the Xiah Junsu of DBSK. He graduated from KyungHee Cyber College. His specialties are singing, composing, and being fashionable

Kim Junsu and Thai girl

Apparently, a Thai girl has been spreading news that she and 2PM’s main vocalist, Kim Junsu are together or at least Junsu was courting her. The relationship happened, according to sources, when 2PM went to Thailand to promote their album in the said country.

Here’s my take on the subject. I think these are fabricated lies by the girl. She’s spreading these so called news to arouse the public’s interest on her. As much as I want to believe her, I just cannot imagine how a relationship could blossom considering the circumstances.



I know Kim Junsu does not speak and understand that much English as seen in their MTV Iggy backstage video. I also don’t think he knows Thai enough to start or to be on a conversation. At least by himself. So how can there be sparks if there’s no communication? The Thai girl seems cute but Kim Junsu seems not the type to base his relationship solely on looks.

And after the things she have said and done for the past few days, I honestly feel she’s just using Kim Junsu and 2PM to gain some attention. 2PM is the hottest Korean group in Thailand right now. I think her facebook rant is just so silly. It just shows how kind of a person she is.



Kim Junsu is sweet, sensitive and shy

The lead vocalist of the group, expresses his love for his parents, how he doesn’t want people to think he smells, & what the first website he goes into when he gets on the computer. (He goes on Seoulbeats! Crazy right? Ok, im jk but that would be dope.)

2PM’s Kim Junsu (Jun.K) has been garnering much attention.

With the recently released video of Junsu singing his own jazz version of Lee Eun Mi’s song “I Have a Lover” with his friend, netizens are buzzing like bees. On Daum TVpot and other video entertainment sites, where the videos were uploaded, netizens have been praising Junsu saying that his singing “gave them goosebumps” and expressed their shock in that his voice is “far better than they expected.”

Step aside Xiah Junsu, there’s a new Junsu in town! Just kidding Cassies, don’t kill me.


And that’s not all – Recently on KBS 2TV “Match! We Love Songs” where all seven 2PM members came on as guests, Junsu along with Junho, calling themselves the “Jun Brothers,” they entertained and wowed the audience, singing songs of various genres from pop to trot. They have been receiving warm interest and were even named “The King of Songs.”

Fans warmly expressed, “Junho’s singing score is 10 points out of 10,” and that, “whether it be pop or trot, Junsu’s voice complies with it all.”

We all knew Junsu was great at singing, but honestly, none of 2PM’s songs give him any justice. But hopefully for 2PM’s next album or single, which is planned to be released in the Fall, they will have some ballads that will show everyone just really how good they are at life.

Lee Junho is a vocalist and dancer from the popular korean seven-member boy band 2PM from Seoul, South Korea. 2PM broke through the entertainment industry with their first single “10 points out of 10″ on September 4, 2008. Lee Junho is probably the most underrated idol in the list. I mean if he is in another group, I’m sure he’ll be the leader and the one fans would be cheering on. He’s always behind Jaebeom talent wise and Nichkhun popularity wise.


Junho was first known by the public as the winner of Superstar Survival. The show started with 12 teens and as the weeks goes by, they were eliminated one by one until three are left. Somewhat reminiscing of Survivor. Along with Chansung and Taec, the show intended to find potential artists that could be part of the JYP family. During the show, Junho was perceived as the cocky naive teenager. From what I’ve read, a lot of fans of the show were rooting for someone else at the finale. Someone posted the episodes but it wasn’t subbed. I hope madam2pmsub or time2sub will work on the show.

He then became part of JYP’s project group Hotblood which eventually became One Day which is then split into 2am and 2pm. Mnet even did a show about them. I honestly didn’t like the show that much. It wasn’t entertaining for me unlike Wonder Girls MTV introductory show.


In interviews, Junho has always stated that his forte is dancing. It’s actually obvious since he’s the only one who can actually keep up with Jaebeom. But I think his singing isn’t that bad. He is one of the few idols who can actually sing and dance at the same time. The first time I noticed his singing was when he and Junsu guested in a singing program. He sang Suhsi by Shin Sung Woo. That was a very difficult and high song but he pulled it off. He really pulled it off. He has a very nice tone in his voice seriously. Wooyoung and Kyu Hyun has one too. I don’t know much about singing but I know when I a guy is singing well.


Personality-wise, he has this cocky attitude as I said before. It’s honestly refreshing to have an idol like that. I think this is also what makes 2pm unique. Other idols are shy or conserved because they don’t want to tarnished their idol image. 2pm has changed that completely.

Someone commented that I should explain how I got the list the way it is. On Junho, the first elimination was meant to list down idols who actually have talent to show. I picked Junho because his dancing and singing are above average. He got through the 2nd and 3rd elimination because he does have this ‘it factor’. I can’t put it into words but there’s something about him that you would wanna see more. I don’t know if I’m writing it right but there’s just something there.


Between Lee Jun Ho, Rain, and FTI’s Minhwan

They say three’s a charm… But when you put Rain, Lee Junho and Choi Minhwan in one mix, it’s the complete concoction for perfection.

2PM’s Lee Junho has always been known to have a strong resemblance to Rain. But his talent goes more than just his looks. When I first saw the live performance of 2PM’s second single “Only You,” it was Junho who stood out the most. Jay is my fave but I think he was the most stable singer-and-dancer—because he was moving smoothly, doing acrobatics and all while still displaying stable vocals. Being rookies that they were, some of them still looked a bit awkward, like for instance, resident cutie Khun seemed a little like a deer-in-headlights during his part of the song. Back then he still needed to work on his facial expressions, so did Wooyoung who was concentrating so much on his dance moves. Nevertheless “Only You” was a great song and it’s great to see 2PM’s huge improvement since then. But Junho, in my opinion has always been real good, it was as if he was performing his whole life!

Jang Wooyoung and Park Jin Young’s dance

2PM member, Jang Wooyoung has successfully copied Park Jin Young’s dance & has caused a lot of attention.

2PM has shown their charismatic talents to After School in this week’s Idol World. Especially Jang Wooyoung in particular went up and performed Park Jin Young’s dance very well.



Wooyoung made everyone laugh by saying “If I’m going to perform a song that isn’t ours, isnt it better to just be our JYP president?”

This was After School’s first time to show off their talents on a variety show, and they ended with a sexy dance that shook the hearts of many of the 2PM members.



Performance boyband 2PM’s Wooyoung confessed that there is someone among the cast of ‘Infinity Girls’ who is close to his ideal type of woman.

2PM, who is currently promoting ‘I Hate You’ has recently recorded a July Special episode of MBC Every1 “Infinity Girls”.


During the session of coupling, Song Eunee asked a question to Wooyoung “Is there any member that you are interested among Infinity Girls?” and Wooyoung answered “There are two persons that are close to my ideal type of girl”.

The 6 casts of ‘Infinity Girls’ are Song Eunhee, Hwangbo, Shin Bongsun, Baek Boram, Kim Shinyoung and Jung Ga Eun. A speculation arose that Wooyoung’s ideal type are Baek Boram and Jung Ga Eun.


Jaebum also revealed that his idea type of girl is Scarlet Johansson and said “There is someone that have kinda similar personality to Scarlet Johansson among Infinity Girls” making the people there bursting into laugh.

After some merciless teasing and then even more where that came from, Baek Ji Young and 2PM’s Taecyeon are finally allowing us to fully experience our ear’s candy (and eye candy for that matter).

The MV for My Ear’s Candy is flashy, sexy–basically four minutes of both eye and ear candy. The flashing lights, combined with Taec’s black wifebeater, nearly gave me a seizure. Sadden by the news. JYPE had given us false hope.
After Jay sudden departure to Seattle last Sept,
all activites or news regarding abt Jay had been void.

2pm came up with an new album 1:59 (instead of 2pm)

The members knew that Jay would be back for sure.

JYPE mentioned that during the discussion Jay had agreed

Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.
Last September, 2PM’s member Park Jaebeom announced his withdrawal from the group and returned to Seattle after a message he wrote on the internet during his trainee days caused backlash. We will now reveal what course of action will be taken.

Although the message that became an issue last September upset many people, it was written during Jaebeom’s tough trainee days on his personal page. At the time, the company agreed with Jaebeom when he asked to take some time for self-reflection. We did not think that this meant that he would stop all activities in the entertainment industry or that he would leave 2PM.

The company had the option of forcing Park Jaebeom to stay and continue promoting with a 7 member 2PM. However, although netizens exaggerated Jaebeom’s words through mistranslations, his words still had the potential to hurt many people. Because of this, we did not want to endorse Jaebeom and force him to continue promotions because it might have damaged his image permanently in the public eye, and so we agreed with his decision to return to the States.

When a celebrity makes a mistake and does not apologize for his / her mistake or if the company endorses that celebrity, the public view of that celebrity becomes more negative and it was in the company’s thoughts that letting Jaebeom withdraw from the group for self-discipline would be good.
Thankfully, after Park Jaebeom left the country, an outpour of support gave him another chance.


After Jaebeom’s leave, we did not release any additional information because we did not want the public to be influenced by malicious sources. Since Park Jaebeom’s return to Seattle, the company has searched for vocal, dance, and acrobatics teachers, and the company producer JYP went personally to Seattle to talk to these teachers and formulate a program.
All recent CF’s, performances, promotions and contracts that have involved 2PM have been made with the mindset that the group would eventually have all 7 members present after Park Jaebeom’s return and so we waited for his comeback.

In November, 2009, the company proposed that Park Jaebeom make his comeback through an album that would have been released this year in April, and Park Jaebeom had agreed to these plans. The plans called for Jaebeom’s return to Korea on the third week of February and a press conference would have been held before promotions as a 7 member 2PM began.
Because of the support he received from the public after his withdrawal from 2PM, Park Jaebeom’s return would have improved 2PM’s efforts and most importantly we would have been able to receive the complete support of the fans once again. The company and the group had high hopes.
However, if the news of Jaebeom’s comeback were revealed too quickly, we felt that the public would once again be negative. Although the fans criticized the lack of information from us, we did not reveal any plans for the comeback.

On December 22nd, 2009, Jaebeom confessed to Jung Wook, a representative, that he had done something wrong during the Again and Again promotions. Apparently, it was far more serious than his MySpace controversy.
The six other members were not notified then as they were busy with year-end activities. On January 3rd, 2010, we all sat down for a discussion and came to an agreement 3 days later that it was no longer possible for Park Jaebeom to continue activities along with 2PM.
We thus decided to terminate our exclusive contract with Jaebeom.
Although we wanted to release this information as soon as possible, Park Jaebeom’s personal situation prevented us from revealing this information until now and we hope you understand.
We would like to emphasize that all the information above is true in its entirety.
We are revealing these details through this message now because if we had lied and gave false information, we would have lost any trust that we held with the fans.
To 2PM and all the people who waited for Park Jaebeom’s return, we apologize deeply and are sorry to have to reveal this sad news to everyone.
The company and the remaining 6 members will prepare even harder and greet you with a better image.

today was a v.exciting day! today i went to school, i saw Rachel talking to shanner. oh, and they all dun want to be friend. never that's not the exciting part! wait for it.... the bell rang alr and we all sat down and also when it is 7.20, Yong yee tapped my shoulder and Rachel told me that she is being my friend and ask me that dun be shanner and suan rong friend. and that is the exciting part! i was so so so so happy! and before recess, shaner wanted to throw a litter and she throwed alr, she told me that: could she be my friend! and i told Rachel that all about shanner. 2PM is a South Korean boy band, originally a seven-member group, but currently consisting of six members[1] due to sudden withdrawal of leader Jaebeom following an Internet controversy in September 2009. They are managed by JYP Entertainment. The current members are Junsu, Junho, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Chansung.

2PM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member (before Jaebeom's departure) boy band One Day, the other being 2AM. They debuted with the song "10 Jeom Manjeome 10 Jeom" (10점 만점에 10점, lit. 10 Points Out of 10 Points), which showcased their acrobatic and b-boy dance styles.[2] They achieved their first #1 song with "Again & Again".




Pre-Debut
The members of 2PM all auditioned (except Nichkhun, who was scouted[3]) to become part of JYP Entertainment, to which the Wonder Girls & 2AM also belong. Some members held their auditions in other countries; for example, Park Jaebeom auditioned in the United States. Other members already had experience in the entertainment industry prior to their acceptance into JYP Entertainment, such as Kim Junsu, who had won various singing competitions, and Ok Taecyeon, Lee Junho and Hwang Chansung, who had participated in the show 'SuperStar Survival'.

2PM's and 2AM's training days were filmed in a documentary called Hot Blood Men, which aired on Mnet. The show documented the time by time training program of the JYP trainees who were to be part of the group "One Day", as well as the elimination of three trainees from the group during the time.

2008: Debut
2PM debuted with their single "10점 만점에 10점" (10 Points Out Of 10 Points) on September 4, 2008. On October 17, 2008, they started to promote "Only You", another song from their debut mini album "Hottest Time of the Day."

On April 16, 2009, the group released their second mini album "2:00PM Time For Change", which they began promoting on April 23. On May 9, 2009, they won their first Mutizen Song award on M!Countdown since their debut; in the same week, they won their second Mutizen on SBS Inkigayo. The group earned their third Mutizen the following week, completing the triple crown and making them ineligible to win for the following weeks. However, the award that had been eluding them - Music Bank - was quickly won soon after. On June 11, 2PM began promotions for "Niga Mipda" (니가 밉다, lit. I Hate You) on M!Countdown. On July 2 and 3, 2PM achieved first place on the M!Countdown and Music Bank charts for the song "Niga Mipda". They achieved the triple crown for the song on M!Countdown by July 16. On July 30, 2PM won the 'Only One Song' award on M!Countdown.

2009: Controversy and comeback success
On September 4, 2009, articles surfaced on the internet regarding Jaebeom's posts from 2005 on his personal Myspace account, in which he expressed his dislike for Korea while still a trainee for JYP Entertainment. Jaebeom issued an apology regarding this matter.[4] Although outraged protesters demanded that Jaebeom should be forced out of 2PM, JYP Entertainment CEO Park Jin-young stated on September 7 that he was going to continue to remain part of the group.[5] The following day, Jaebeom announced on his official fancafe that he would be leaving the group and returning to the United States, with plans of going back to school and bettering his understanding of music, and also apologized to the other 2PM members for not being a good leader and older brother to the group.[6] Park Jin-young has confirmed that he will respect the singer's decision, and that 2PM will continue on as a 6-member group.[1][7] Additionally, due to the sensitive topic of Jaebeom's departure, all 2PM members were withdrawn from their regular appearances on variety shows.[8]

The group finished re-filming their music video for "Heartbeat", the title song of their first full-length album, without Jaebeom on October 31, 2009. During a press conference, it was revealed that Jaebeom's vocals would not be removed from the songs.[9] The day after the now 6-member 2PM's full-length album was released, Park Jin-young released a statement that Jaebeom would return as a member of 2PM if he wanted to make a comeback, while indicating that his return was not imminent.[10][11]. In further support of Jaebeom's place in the group, the six 2PM members have also decided to distribute their income from their 1st album with him, sending him an equally divided amount of the earnings.[12]

The group's first full length album, titled 1:59PM, was released on November 10, 2009.[13] Both the album and title track, "Heartbeat", quickly rose to the #1 position on multiple music sales charts.[14] The group made their first comeback performance, signifying the beginning of their promotional activities for the album, on M.Net's ‘O Good Concert’ on Thursday, November 12, 2009,[15] subsequently making their KBS Music Bank, MBC Music Core and SBS Inkigayo comebacks on Friday, November 13, Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15, respectively.

On November 20, 2009, 2PM performed at and was honored with two awards by the M.net Asian Music Awards (previously known as M.net KM Music Festival): the award for Best Male Group and Artist of the Year (the latter being one of the three most prestigious awards, or "Daesang"s, at the show, which also include Song of the Year and Album of the Year).[16] The group paid homage to him during their performance of "Again & Again", in which a spotlight was shown over Jaebeom's usual position in the dance formation and his vocals were not replaced.[17]

On November 26, 2009, after two weeks of promotional activities for the 1:59PM album, 2PM earned their first #1 on a TV music show (KBS Music Bank's "K-Chart") since the album's release, with "Heartbeat" [18], which went on to take #1 on the K-Chart for three more weeks. In addition, "Heartbeat" achieved the "Mutizen" song award Triple Crown on SBS Inkigayo by being the #1 song the Inkigayo "Take 7" chart for three weeks, the maximum amount of time for which a nominated song is eligible to win. On December 30, 2009, at Korean Broadcasting System (KBS)'s end of the year Music Festival, "Again & Again" was recognized as "Song of the Year" [19], winning with 57,060 votes.

2PM followed up end-of-2009 activities with the second single off of 1:59PM album, "Tired of Waiting". The song was performed live for the first time at the SBS Music Festival on December 29, 2009. 2PM's promotion for the album ended with their SBS Inkigayo performance on January 17, 2010,

At 12 noon, Jae-bum announced through his post,
I apologize for saying my last goodbye this way. I feel very sorry to everyone because of this situation and find it difficult to face everyone on stage again. I feel sorry and can only apologize to everyone, especially to all my fans that have given me so much love. I will officially resign from 2PM, today. 2PM members, I’m so sorry to all the members for not being capable of giving them strength and leaving such a burden on their shoulders as an elder and leader of the group. However, I ask and hope that everyone will give them more support and I apologize once again for everything.”

korean news ( yuri, girls generation )she has h1n1 and she went to the hospital on march 4th for cold symptoms, and was diagnosed with the h1n1 virus the next day. lets see wad one of her fan said ( she is a healthy girl, so she will be better soon. ) girls generation took to the stage for a music show, and there were only eight of them there.

and for park baebeom from 2pm announced jaebeom has left the band for good, and since then, theres been commotion outside their building. some fans are very disappointed at the other members for agreeing to jaebeom's leaving. and so, they turned into angry fans, and have been demanding 2pm not to perform and invading their privacy. 2pm's management decided to request the police for an investigation. jaaebeom's mother also wrote on their website, asking 2pm's fans to calm down first.

I am sorry. as i tell all of you about how i felt that time, i also would like to apologize. in January of 2005, i came to Korea as a high school student. i was born in the states and i had insufficient knowledge of how Korea is. being it my first time, i could not communicate with others, my taste buds didn't fit, and i barely knew the culture which i couldn't understand. i felt as though i was treated coldly by the people around me as my family was left in states. it was such a difficult where i didn't even know if i was going to debut. due to many hardship, things were getting too hard and i was getting lonely being homesick. i had the thoughts of quitting and i wanted to go back to my family in the states. the comment based on korea part: i wrote that because of my personal situation i was placed in and my emotions took over. i was too young and said things in the wrong words. i was foolish, young, and facing difficulties where i made the mistake into turning my surroundings worse. time passed byand i forgot that i had even written them. i am now embrassed and truly sorry of those comments i had made. after that time, i had adjusted to everything and my thoughts have changed tremendously as i thank the people around me to get me to perform on stage in any situation. those commments were made four years ago, but i am a different person now. to my family, hottest, members of 2PM, and those who love 2PM, i am truly sorry. from now on, i hope that there will be no mistakes like this ever again. i will say it one more time that i am truly very sorry.
